Jessica Simpson really is dumb
I know I should have seen this coming. Any chick who expresses on TV that she isn’t sure it a can of tuna is chicken or fish is obviously dumb. I, however, chose to think that she was instead a genius and that by acting innocent and stupid she won everyone over and parlayed that into millions. But, alas, I was proven wrong. The BBC is reporting that a clothing company signed Jessica to a deal that would give her her own clothing line, Princy (reportedly her dad’s pet name for her) and a the deals was worth upwards of 8-10 million dollars. In this line she would have some jeans called JS by Princy. The jeans would be sold for around $30 a pair. It’s brilliant. I’m sure she has tons and tons of fans that can’t afford to drop a couple hundred bucks for a pair of jeans so this is a great deal. All she had to do was to promote them and wear them to public events when it was appropriate. The problem it seems is that Jess refuses to be seen in public in the jeans. She doesn’t wear them to any event and when she was at an event and someone from the press asked her what her favorite brand of jeans were she said, “True Religion.” ($350 a pair.) All she needed to say was “JS by Princy.” or just “Princy” and this company would have loved her forever and given her tons of money. Instead they decided to sue her. Hopefully they lawsuit won’t stress her out too much and destroy her good looks. Speaking of which, here are some pics.
