Paris Hilton going to jail
Somehow this story makes me laugh. Paris Hilton is going to jail. Well, at least she has been sentenced to 45 days in jail. Paris repeatedly drove on a suspended license which violated her parole which stemmed from her drunk driving arrest last year. Paris tried to blame everyone but herself saying that her management team told her that her license was only suspended for 30 days and she could still drive for work related stuff. She tried to tell them that she would never knowingly break the law. But the judge had none of it and even pointed out that she had received a written warning which she signed so she did in fact know that she was doing wrong and that even after several warnings she had still not enrolled in an alcohol diversion class that she promised to attend. After all the warnings Paris still did as she pleased and this time it will cost her.
Her parents, who were present in the courtroom, vowed to fight this and my opinion is that she will pull the standard Hollywood out card and agree to go to rehab in exchange for not going to jail. I’m not sure they can cure stupidity and arrogance in rehab, but don’t be surprised to see her there anyway.
